possible KY have gold or anything??

Booneville KY... is it possible to find gold, or anything, in this area?? I know there was alot of strip mining for coal around this area... There is some land there in the family I could search, but haven't heard any gold every being discovered there..

please let me know..

only gold i've found here in ky is jewelry but i think there may be some,there is gold in indiana!! so they say,maybe someone else out there can enlighten us.....help.

I have found some very, very teenie tiny specks in Beaver Creek, Menifee Co, Ky (Frenchburg). I'll send you a sample if you'd like to pan it. Small gold has also been found in a small creek in Stanton and Clay City Ky. Geographically speaking, Ky is gold challenged.

I have a friend in SE Indiana who owns a "gravel pit" right next to a river. I'm thinking the gravel is glacier deposit....would there be any gold in the pit area?
