Found by a Creek bed. Looks like might be a Native American Artifact, but not sure. Can someone please help me ID this? Thanks! IMG_0098.webpIMG_0100.webp

There is a Native American forum farther down the page try posting this in there.

That is a Native American artifact. The flaking is very obvious. Looks like the top half of a broken knife form, nice find and great looking material.

I have to agree with 1320. That would have been awesome if it was whole. You should spend more time in that creek. Usually, where there is one, there is more that you didn't see.

Thanks everyone! I'll keep searching the Creek bed and see what I can find!

It's sad that when I saw the title of this post, I rolled my eyes, due to the typical substance of such posts.

But this one is different, and that piece is definitely flaked. If you found it by a creek bed, I'd suspect it probably wasn't something from a gift shop at a museum, either.

My opinion is that this is likely a Native American artifact, yes.

No doubt that is part of an indian artifact, as 1320 said most likely part of a nice knife, some nice flint too... Keep looking there is more there...

Welcome to TreasureNet too....
