Possible slave tag and lead something???

Tag says w. Larman and some r 4 and nc and was found in James city where freed slaves went during the civil war. And lead thing was found near civil war fort and says n.c. on one side and has design on other side. What are these items?

Don't know about the lead. The bullet looks chewed.The other piece looks more like a bracelet, not a slave tag. Tony

THe lead shield my be a soldier made hat badge. Not sure. someone with more experience than me should chime in. Good luck.,
