Possible stone artifact

Found this on Christmas day walking through a field in an area know to produce projectile points. Looks to be granite but I can't tell if it has been worked or not. I don't know how granite fractures but the two sections that are missing just seem to be unnatural to me. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
