First picture of a partial bowl I found when I was 13 while walking the shore line of Lake Wylie. It was washing out of the bank. The piece being held was part of a different bowl that was with it. Wish I would have known more back then. I would have dug around a bit. Bet there was more of it there. That section of shoreline was rip-rapped shortly after that.
Other pieces are some that I found on a camp site in York County. Good hunting-Sam

Nice pottery project. I like to find the shards
