I've been wanting to post this for several months now. My DIL, April's mother, Carolyn was admitted to the ER on Mother's Day for jaundice and internal bleeding. She was still in the hospital when April had our 1st grandchild and 1st granddaughter for Carolyn. Carolyn had gone under some intense testing at a local hospital and then transferred to a bigger hospital in New Orleans for more tests. She never had hepatitis or cirrhosis of the liver, but liver biopsy results were she'll need a liver transplant. She's only been home twice all during this time and with her on the waiting list, she has been at the hospital's hostel.

Phone call late last night, that she would be undergoing the transplant this morning.

Please keep Carolyn in your thoughts & prayers. Prayers to the donor's family too, cause someone's loved one lost their life in order for another to live.

Judie

Hey RR,
I just said a prayer... and I'll continue praying dear! Someone close to me has been having the oncoming symptoms of that exact same issue, so I def understand how prayer is essential. Keep us (me) updated!!
God Bless ya'll!

Prayers and a candle from me Judie..

Judie,

Our prayers for Carolyn are on the way.
And for you and yours as well.

Thanks for your prayers & thoughts. The transplantation went very well, within minutes Carolyn's color was glowing natural. She spent 1 day in ICU then moved to a room, last word yesterday she will be moved from the hospital to the transplant personnel's apartments on Thursday, where she will remain till it's determined she's well enough to come home. Keep her in your prayers for a healthy recovery.

 RR

That's awesome RR! I'm glad to hear a positive update for her... :)

Wow just discovered this post so sorry I'm Late but I know from personal experience prayers can never be too late.

Still praying for a fast and total recovery!! ~hugsnprayers~

Carolyn is improving as each day passes. From ICU she was moved to CCU, where she is still at. She has a long, road to recovery. I'm talking about at least 3-6 months or longer in the hospital, the "Guest House" then the apartments down the street. So please still continue to keep her in your prayers.

 RR

absolutely sweet lady! Thanks so much for the update! We will continue to pray for her recovery! ~hugsnprayers~
