Preform winged banner????????????

need your support, i thought it was a axe when i picked it up, that had modern damage on one side, but after i got out of the field the new damage didnt add up to a axe. when i got home and cleaned it off i noticed its bulged out were the drill hole would be and that is where it is broke. the black bands would angle up at the middle too. it is shaped to perfectly for one wing. i wish i would of looked for other side. am i delusional or what>?

yes, it could be a preform.

How thick is it in the middle section? That would be the tell as to whether or not it's a Banner Preform. It would have to be fairly thick there to accommodate the hole that needed to be drilled.

I'd say so. It's only about a quarter of it.... Here are some I've found.
Maybe you can tell by scale. Look's like it busted on them pretty good...
