Some great things would no doubt have come from some of these if they had ever been finished. Some were close, at least they had under gone thinning to a great degree. Awaited a masters' touch.

9mm for size reference

I like that last one but they are all great finds. Might be knifes. Were they all found in the same spot?

I like your scale! I have one preform that I really like. All of yours are nicer than my nicest one. Not saying much, but I try. I hope you don't mind that If I post mine.

Do you think many were just waiting for the notches and bases? Maybe used as is until they decided to haft it? Nice collection Brazo I mean Bravo.:laughing7:

Nice bunch of artifacts.

Rock..no, some are mine and others were picked up by family members. I'm not sure where they all came from. (Tx and New Mexico at least )

NC...everyone is welcome to post as many as you want. Go for it. It is a preform post. (nice bucket mouths in your avatar)

I found one each on consecutive trips starting with the small point, the big one on the left is similar to yours. These are all from the farm.

TN...some could have been in use as is. Plenty of work had already gone into them.

Thx to all for the comments.

My old boss would go arrow head hunting up on the rivers in Georgetown,TX. and find the same kind.

Ill post a preform for you. It is made out of milky white quartz and has some purple red running through it. Would of been a great point if it had been finished. I still like it.

The fact that the tip broke on this one may have been why it was never finished. The material appears to be raw Coral.
