Today's finds...
1893-O Barber Half Dollar (A first for me)
1887 Seated Liberty Dime
1894 V-Nickel
1889 V-Nickel
1867 Shield Nickel, No-Rays, struck off-center
Crusty 2 cent piece, date unreadable, not pictured
10 IHPs, including 2 fatties, most too crusty to read dates, most not pictured

Tried to clean up the nickels with ketch-up. Results so-so, but they sure smell delicious now.

Oh, yeah pretty good day!

I would love to see your really good days.

Great finds. What kind of site were you on? Must be a really good spot for that many old coins in one hunt.

Great finds! Nice bunch of silver!

Uhmm, just don't eat the nickels!

Unbefreakinlievable man ! If that's your "pretty good day" I gotta wonder what your amazing day looks like ? ,

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

A "landscaping" project on a prominent corner. The window of opportunity will close shortly, so may be all I pull from there. Helps to know the local history so as to recognize an opportunity when it presents itself. Also helps to be able to read the site. Upside is many old coins. Downside is lots of iron to contend with and the coins don't look as nice as those pulled from a park. All of these coins have come from a "very small" area.

Thanks.

I'll try to restrain myself regarding the nickels.:laughing7:

The amazing days are few and far between, but yeah, they don't get much better.

Wow, that is one heck of a haul! Fantastic!

Very impressive work!

Holy cow! A barber half and a seated dime in the same hunt. Don't see that every day. Sweet hunt. Gotta love that. Congrats!
