Was at my in-laws today fixing their furnace and took about a half hour to myself to detect a little in their backyard. I came across some clad, toys and some trash. The toy car is a 1972 Matchbox Spyder. Does anyone know what the other half car is? I also don't know what the larger wheel was for. It's heavy for the size and has gears on both sides. Here's some pics.
By the way, all this stuff is from the original house owners and the toys belonged to their child.

Your half car looks like a Tootsie Toy car. They were made up until the 1960's. If you scrub some dirt off of the bottom, they were labeled "Tootsie Toy" Chicago, IL. Take a toothbrush to it and see.

LordoftheZincs- that would be awesome! I'll look into that.

Trezurehunter- that's exactly what it is! I looked it up. It's the "Lark"

Glad to help. It just had that Tootsie Toy look to it.
