It looks like a "sissy bar" off a motorcycle. If you do an internet image search for "sissy bar" you will see similar examples.

Thanks, I could't think of term sissy bar, long time since I heard it. Thought it might be motorcycle, auful heavy for bike. Doug, Thanks!

Yes, what all the rest have already said, looks like a sissy bar.

Sissy Bar is correct, had to be fairly heavy to support weight of a passenger when leaned on..🏍️
