Pride of the Mojave 1930's

Thought I'd post some pics of my grandfather when he worked at the 'Pride of the Mojave' back in the 30's. He's the big fellar in the back row. Was also a pro boxer at the time. He'd work six days of the week then go fight on Saturday night. Tough man but one of the kindest big hearted folks you'd ever want to meet. I sure do miss him.

Oops it flipped the head frame picture on it's side and I can't seem to fix it, sorry

Very cool history of your Grandfather.

Those guys back then sure earned it didn't they ?

Excellent pics! Have you thought of going out there & doing some "now" photos? It'd be pretty cool to have then & now photos to hand down for the kids & grandkids to add to in later years.

Looking at these really make us appreciate what we have now.
