Can you get some color pictures of the piece? It appears to be natural from those photos.

It's has a thin layer of dirt on it. I'm afraid to clean it. I'll get some more pictures taken at different angles and a little clearer I hope.

I wouldn't be afraid to clean it, you will not hurt it. From the photo's it does look like a natural rock.
