So we got pizza and meatball sandwiches at Garibaldis early on returned to sit out the night's noise here in the Lowbatts abode. Dozed off until the boomin' began around 12:00 then awoke to the sweet sound of the opening credits to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, my favorite treasure hunting movie of all time.

Gotta be an omen. Hope I don't end up like the Bad, even Tuco made out okay by way of comparison. Though he did have to sweat it out a bit. But then so did Blondie.

Tim,

Great movie, also one of my favorites. I grew up with the Goonies!

I'm in the miserable position of being afflicted with a most painful case of Post Traumatic Neuropathy from the cut finger/severed nerve. It's just my finger but it's affecting every aspect of my life in the most negative ways. I will rejoice when the nerve regenerates, because these sensations of pain and shock suck. I'm laying low, trying to move as little as I can. Ugh.

At least it occured during the "off" season...

Joe, just get it working again man! Bet it's getting cold easy these days too! If it was warmer I'd take you out to the swamp and slap mud on it, wrap it with a dirty old sock and let it be for a week and it's good to go!
:tongue3:
Worked for me that time I got a pitchfork tine put through my big toe.

:tongue3:

Whoa!
Tims treatment makes my duct tape / crazy glue method like something straight from the Mayo Clinic. ;D

Hey don't make fun of my little Minnesota medicare/medicaid clinic... ;-)

Man - I stay away from this site for a month or two and all hell breaks loose with people getting chopped up, backs breaking, using jackhammers to hunt in frozen ground - wow! Looks like I missed all the action.
I can't believe you guys are still getting out there and battling the elements and ground - no wait, actually I CAN believe it!

Did the wings and beer or tequila event ever take place yet?

Any suggestions how to maintain the rechargeable (Minelab) batteries during slow/no use in the winter?
Just leave it out of the detector or ?

Nice to hear from you again Mayo!
Where you been hiding? The big bash hasn't happened yet, but I'd guess it'll be in February, but who knows.
Welcome back!
Mike

Yeah Mayo, been at the sledding hills already a couple few times. Ice and wimpy fingers cut short what the back couldn't.

How's the kitchen retrofit from hell going? You cooking in there yet? Hope your keeping the heat on!

As far as batteries go, just use 'em up the normal way, go hit Continental Park, gotta be some surface goodies around there!

This place looks like a good place for a light snack whenever anyone gets near Chandler Arizona...

Lowbatts - the kitchen from Hades is about done. I just have some fine tuning to do like putting on baseboard molding (or is it moulding?) and sealing the grout on the tiled floor before it gets permanently stained with pepsi or koolade or gatorade or spaghetti sauce - most of which I've already had to clean up off the new floor.
Everything else looks good though and soon I'll be having a kitchen is done party... details to follow.

Toga toga toga!
