Prospecting in Massachusetts

Hey everyone I want to get out and find things. Crystals and gold alike, only problem is I'm in Massachusetts where I have determined is pretty much free of anything cool. So if you're from New England and know of any good locations within 2 hours or so of Boston is love to here them. Thanks!

Do some searches here on tnet and via Google and you'll get some quick ideas. I've had success in the Berkshires from north to south. Rumors further east too, just don't trespass!

MA/NH/VT Panning and there is a lot of good information as well as info on local to you prospectors . There is gold in Massachusetts as you will see when you check out this thread

I got a few flakes out of the deerfield river. There isn't much gold there but enough to get a few flakes in your pan if you try hard enough.
