Psychiatric hospital cemetery

makes you wonder how long it will be before they throw away the headstones and build houses or a strip mall on top of the graves. Very sad place indeed.

i think they ? being the government should put a memorial there stating each persons name and their so called mental illness. and what they suspect what caused that illness ?

oops ! i just noticed the marker with the names. is it granite ? where is it placed on the property ?

my mother used to work as an aide on a psych ward and she would tell me some of the times they would do shock treatments on the patients{subjects}. i wished i would have asked what the drugs of choice were back then ? too young too realize what was really going on.

The granite headstone replaced one of the metal ones. It just says "Mom" and her year of birth and death.
