puffer drywasher motor?????

has anyone used a wiper motor to power a bellows style drywasher?
do you need to use pulleys on it? can it be run with with a connecting rod from motor to bellows?

I have found that a 1997 ford ranger wiper motor does the best. I used a rheostat switch to up/ down the speed. works with gears, pulley or arm.. great for jig fishing also. built several. Always used the 97 model,, was a copy from an electrical engineer friend.

Best motors I have found to use for battery powered mining equipment are those used for elect wheel chairs.

xracer550 very nice work. I did a similar set up but used a Makita 12v drill that i soldered leads to the battery contacts to use a
Motor cycle battery.
