Pulling From a New Source

Been searching all Brinks coins which have been supplied in bags and boxes from three different banks. These half dollar bags and boxes have been giving up very few silvers in the past couple of months so I am going to try a new strategy. Hooked up with a new bank last week to order halves from and their servicing carrier is Loomis. The first order should be in this week. Any of you prefer Loomis coins over Brinks? HH

I don't think it matters what boxes you search. It's a crapshoot. What matters is what bank you get the boxes from. Some banks get boxes that consistantly have few if any skunks, and others give up skunks on a regular basis.

Not much luck with either. I perfer to search the ones with silver in them.

I don't think I have ever gotten a hold of any Loomis boxes.

Actually it is district and not supplier. Brinks nor Loomis own the coins, they are just transporters that the banks have hired to
move their money. If you are getting crappy boxes, look where the next district is and try buying from there.

Have had decent boxes from both followed by dry spells.
