That's just what I did. Had a few hours to spare and detected in a couple of local parks. No precious metals today, but most days are like that. None the less, fun as usual. With some cool finds. The Victorinox SD pocketknife was about 3" down and rang up like a bouncy clad quarter. It came out of the ground in near mint condition, undamaged, no rust, and with all of its attachments!
Mrs. Sub has already claimed it... 

The rest of the loot consisted of $3.50 in clad, a pair of reading glasses, a "Princess" dog (or kid) tag, and a set of keys. (Any idea what kind of key the long copper one is?) and a large bling ring that gave my heart a jump at first!
