Part of a cast iron radiator?

Wondering if it might be some kind of lubrication fitting and part of a bearing for a large shaft. Not sure why the fitting would need to be so large, though. Similar in theory to this picture:

I am guessing some kind of fitting for an early day farm machine or tractor? Goes along with the first guesser. Monty

I agree on the application, but I think the cavity was probably for oil instead of grease. Interesting find whatever it is. :thumbsup:
