The milkweeds over here all now have pods.

I collected some seeds a couple of years ago and started them in peat pots then put them where I wanted to get it started behind the house. It never got over a foot tall and never bloomed...While mine was struggling to grow, the wild volunteers were growing up in a rock pit near home and blooming.
