I have the weekend off so this morning i decided to hit the quarter corner again.
When i got there, it was low 50s, wind howling at 20 mph and felt like it was about 35 degrees.
But honestly, it felt good just been outdoors and having fun.
Anyways, my first signal i got said quarter at 6 inches, dug down that far, right on target. But i did something ive heard several other people on here doing and it paid off. I rescanned the hole and another good signal and dug it and a nickle popped out.
Believe it or not, this happened to me eight more times with different combinations.
My wife told me there used to be a merry go round in one area, so i hit that area and found 29 quarters, 17 dimes, 12 nickles and around 80 pennies.
Tomorrow im going back to the school and detecting an area my wife said that an old oak tree use to stand and it had a tree swind on it.
Sounds promising to me.
Have a good day....

I can't believe alot people usually don't rescan their target holes after they find the first target... Congrads on your finds...

In this post I should have also said, the oldest coin was a 1954 nickle and the rest is from 1970 to 2006. Most targets was around 3 to 5 inches deep.
As soon as I get the money, I will buy a decent digital camera and post pics.
Thanks for looking at my post...

OK Allen. What did you do, send that 50 degree weather to Alabama? :P :D BRRR! It's chilly here today! Sounds like that site is a great one! Did you get back to the oak tree yet?

Congrats on those finds! Nana :)
