A total of 19 quarters, but only two of them were silver, a 1948 and 1952. I also cornered a 1941 Mercury Dime, a 1951 Rosie, 4 Wheat Pennies, and some other clad coins. I tried my best to get another silver coin, but I ran out of steam.

I was swinging my F75DST and Racer 2, both with the NEL Sharpshooter search coils attached. The weather here was pretty nice today, but it's fix-in to turn nasty cold and wet. Hopefully, I can get enough hunts in for the remainder of the year to make it to 250 silver coins for the year. Only 8 to go!

This was my 89th hunt for the year and my grand total for silver coins this year is 242.
I'll total all my gold and silver rings and other jewelry at the end of the year.

Silver and Clad together is always a good hunt!

Must be so fantastic to have so many virgin sites to detect! Congrats!:icon_thumright:

Awesome job! Nice coins. I found a 1954 WA Quarter the other day. Good spot you have there. :headbang:

sounds like a low stakes poker game got scattered.

Nice silver haul! :hello2::hello2:

I find it odd that you own so many Tesoro detectors yet use the F75 all the time. Nice finds as usual by the way

It wouldn't be sportsman of me if I used a Tesoro all the time. Tesoro detectors can hold their own when it comes to finding silver coins LINK, but they really excel when it comes to finding gold jewelry. LINK I found 5 or 6 gold rings with them at the beginning of the year. I like to switch things up to keep things interesting.

Nice silvers and 242 silvers land detecting is fantastic. You have found some great spots. Congrats on a great year.

Thanks Everyone! I'm laying in today and will be watching some football and going over to my sister's house later to celebrate an early Christmas with family. We have some bad weather coming our way, but it's not so bad that we can't hunt around here the majority of time throughout the Winter months. It's Summer that sucks around here. That's our off season, but its doable.

Congratualtions on the silver and clad finds! :occasion14: You have some very nice places to hunt!

Congrats on another successful silver producing hunt tabman. :occasion14: It looks like those curb strips are very fertile hunting grounds.
