I tripped over a piece of quartz yesterday near the barn that looked interesting. A quick trip through the jaw crusher and washed on stacked classifier screens then panned the fines. I still have all of the crush to run in the chain mill, but the washed super fines have gold. The micro fines produced a line of gold and dust across the pan. I wanted to use the chain mill on the rest of the crush but worn screen and a bolt need repair. But this makes my day even with the small amount of color showing a real short walk and some basics.

Many years back I bought out my friends dredge and all of his equipment after he called it quits for most everything. after driving out to Colorado to get it and then getting home I did a GOOD CLEAN OUT removing any bolt in parts. And lo and behold in-between the metal parts was a real nice collection of fine gold! I took a picture of it and sent it to him saying "Look what I found" and I mailed it to him :):):) He was a very HAPPY CAMPER ! It made me feel real good doing so !

Old post but I'm repairing the chain mill again, ended up with a good pinch yesterday. and a surprise laying where I was busting rocks looks melted out of my roasted rocks I guess.
