Quattro w/15" Wot

I bought the wot searchcoil from Coiltec, it pinpoints better than the stock 10" seems to be hot on pulltabs which is good that means it'll be hot on gold rings.
It runs quiet with sens. at 7 in medium trash areas, but this baby is sensitive and deep if you crank it up, in low trash I run as high as I can. I just got the coil will update more later.

Re: Quattro w/15" Wot

I have the WOT coil on both of my Sov GT's it is a fantastic coil and deep too. I am primarily a beach hunter so usually not trashy, and with Minelab nulling on iron I really don't have a problem, well other then the distractions from the "eye candy".

I just got on loan a barely used 16.5" Excelerator II Pro Search Coil to try out, it doesn't have a single scratch on it. If I like it, it is mine for $125. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, I was on call when I got it and last week I forgot the headphones for that detector, my other Sov GT is water proofed and the headphones are hard wired to box so I couldn't use those headphones..

I will let you know how it responds..................

Good luck and good hunting........

Dave..I also have a Quattro with the stock coil & a 5" Excellerator coil. Let Me know how that coil is as far as picking up a lot of trash due to the coil size as I am looking for another coil...Thanks
