We have a mine with Quartz stringers that has hematite and Manganese and gold locked up with the Hematite and Manganese oxides. We are in Arizona. Where is the best place to take the ore to get it processed? What would be the best process to recover the most Gold? Any info would be great! New to hard rock mining in the past dredged and high banked placer claims. I like following a vein in hard rock much better. Old bones can't take the cold water anymore.

Like all quartz gold you have to crush it . Small quantities use a dolly and then pan it separate the gold. If you have large quantities of ore to process you need to mill it then run it accross a coper plate with mercury of it so the gold is then caught in the mercury and becaomes amalgam which you then need to retort and spearate the gold from the mercury. Icannot see why manganese etc would make any difference.

Thanks for the answer I will give it a try.
