Question about the 12-1/2" coil imaging and sal water detecting

Hi Garrett Fellows

The next long weekend, I will be detecting on the beach with my GTI-2500. I like to know how does works the 12.5 imaging coil on the shoreline been in all metal mode. The GTI has good capabilities for ground balance and salt water rejecting, however, the salt water rejecting mode is used in discrimination mode, not in all metal and I like to detect in all metal.

Do you have any experience on shoreline, and how respond?

If you can manually ground balance it in true all metal mode on the wet salt, you should be OK.
