Question concerning RTG Scoop?

Hello all!! My new Tiger Shark is on its way!

Can anyone tell me if the RTG PRO Aluminum 6" water scoop is strong enough for shallow water beach use? Is this considered cheap and should I go for one thats a little more "Heavy Duty"?

I saw a few posts concerning Zeke's scoops but cant find it now. Is he still making them?

I haven't seen anyone talking about any scoops made by Zeke for quite awhile, not since he changed jobs. I have one of his scoops and they are nice.

My advice is if you are going to be hunting in the water and it has any size to the surf, then buy the biggest scoop you can find. Speaking from experience it is a pain digging a target with a smaller scoop with the surf breaking over you.

I have a beach brute I picked up from ebay used for $100 and well worth it. It is heavy, but it is like a backhoe, it takes big bites.
