So, I was watching TV, a show called Mystery Science Theater 3000, and in one of the shorts, there was a coin that was in the theme of the short. Here is the video with that coin in the show.

As funny as the show is, I dont believe I have seen a coin with Benjamin Franklin on it. I thought half dollars only had Kennedy on them.

Am I missing some knowledge about coins?

Thanks. I knew what I was missing something. I didn't know that there were 4 different types of half dollars.

You may wish to purchase coin book (Red Book...etc). These books have photos, mintage, value and information on each coin. This is a very valuable tool for someone starting out in coin collecting.

Yes, you might want to study up on these types of coins, since, with any luck, you might be finding some of them!
