Question on multiple finds at beaches with surf action.

When you make multiple finds of "notable" items on the same outing are the items?

A) Usually within a 5 foot area.

B)Usually within a 25 foot area.

C)Usually within a 100 foot area .

D) Usually spread out well over 100 feet apart.

E) Never found multiple items.

Just trying to understand beach movement and if so called "hot spots" are because of just being a good area or if wave action pools things together. My theory is that a sizable beach that has things close together is that the waves and currents put them together as opposed to being lost in the same spot.
This theory goes against what I read from people that say it only stays where it is dropped and if anything, it sinks or gets covered up.

Anybody have any experiences to bolster or tear my theory?

My only multi finds on the beach would have to be clad, most likely, someone with a fist full of change trips and falls....
