Question RE: Etrac in Tot Lots

I'm having trouble using my Etrac w/std coil in Tot Lots with metal structures. I can't get within 18 in or 2 ft of a metal pole without it emitting a high tone. Any suggestions and all replies welcome. GL and HH!

Put it in manual sensitivity and turn the sensitivity way down... Next best - buy a small coil for it...

If the pole is metal, you are going to pick it up. As Masterjedi suggested, you really only have two options - with the small coil addition probably being the best of the two of them.

Yea, smaller coil is your only option.
I use a 8"x5" sef butterfly. But, The ETRac is a beast and will still eat steel poles from a distance.

The X-5 and X-8 are good for tight areas.
