Question, very simple, copper wire in coil and process

Electronics are different, but the copper coil winding, does it require so much wire to properly perform the signal, educated the aud someone, thanks

This is also a question I've wondered about. I remember back from CB Radio days that SWR or "standing wave" was a deal breaker when too high and you tried to crank the power up. In transformers there are a certain amount of windings present to achieve desired results as well.
Just theorizing here, but seems like there would need to be a certain resistance achieved too within a coil. Very interesting topic here, and would be good to get some more info on this.
