My buyer tells me that he does not give more than face for proof coins because they are not worth anything being in circulation, even if they are in good shape. Is he pulling my chain or what?? I guess maybe I made the mistake of telling him how I obtain them.

well,I think you made a mistake telling him! You just made another CRH'er! To be honest,I'm only in this for the silver,not really the collectability.I'd dump a roll of circulated proofs without a thought.

Put them up on Ebay when you have a roll, they will sell over face. Usually $1.00 per coin but you have to have a bunch of them.
