I did not find these, but inherited them from my grandmother. All of these were found in the West TX, New Mexico area. I do hunt for points, but do not have the books and material needed to ID most of the stuff I was given.
Any Idea where this clay head may be from? Some people around here have told me its from Central or South America. I do not believe that the pottery shard was found in the same location, they came out of different displays.

The next item is very small, but my grandmother thought it was something, it was the centerpiece of a shadowbox display. Any Idea what it is, or is it just a neat rock?

This point, although small is one of my favorites. I have had one person tell me they thought it was a modern fake, but my grandfather remembers the day it was found.

I'm sure someone will be able to help with the stuff in the top photos, the point looks like it's made from glass, if not, any idea of the kind of material

Point is nice, looks like clear quartz, note the embedded dirt. Face is awesome, and I see the pottery shard.

The Pottery Shard looks to be Anasazi and is more than likely from the New Mexico area. The head I'm not so sure. It too could be Anasazi, but then again it could be Pre Colombian and maybe Mayan or Aztec. Not sure on the point either, but if it's glass it is probably historic.

Nice pieces though. Thanks for the pictures.

The head looks to be Teotihuacan culture (Mexico). The pottery looks Anasazi and probably came from a little further north than the head. The point appears clear crystal quartz, found commonly in MX, NM and sometimes in the surrounding areas. Crystal quartz looks just like glass and in many cases you can't hardly distinguish between the two. The elongated stone could be a pottery tool, a fetish..or who knows.

Nice artifacts you have there, As stated i would let someone look at the quartz or glass point, Im no expert at all but I have seen alot of crystal quartz here in S.C and N.C Im not trying to be rude but I would say that is a glass point but I could be wrong. Here is one of my crystal quartz points.
Thanks for showing
Clint
