Quick question.

Would you buy silver dimes for $2.50? Melt value right now is $2.89.

25 of them?

$2.50 is probably as close to wholesale as you can get, I'd pull the trigger.

At $2.50 each, that would be about 86.5% of melt as of today . In my opinion, thats not a tremendous bargain, but its probably a better price than you'll find at most places. Personally, if I could part with the money without impacting my ability to buy more later (if silver takes a dip, I do find a tremendous bargain, etc.) then I would buy at that price. If the purchase would hinder me from buying more, or cut in on my CRH bankroll then I would probably pass and hope for a better deal down the road. If the dimes were Mercs and Barbers, I'd buy and have a blast looking for key/semi-key dates.

But, thats just me. Its your money - do whatever you're comfortable with.

Personally, yes, I would, given I that had the cash.

Arkie gives great advice, BTW.

Yes. Silver prices around here are highly inflated, and I shop around. I can't find anything below or at melt.

I called a dealer yesterday and he is paying 27X face......Matt

My local coin store is buying for 26.5x.. I'd wait a bit personally. I am not in CRH to sell though, just for the thrill ;D

I would buy them, and then sell them in a few weeks if silver continues on its upward trend.
