Quick question

I would assume it depends on where on the shaft, I would keep it at least 2 feet above the coil and if it's turned off when your sweeping should not be a problem. Not sure if people know this but your cell phone can cause issues, I always hunt with my phone turned off.

I know that may be a dumb question but I've read where people do this for convenience reasons. Just wondering if anyone has experienced interference by doing so. The simple answer is just don't do it if you think it interferes. Yep, I keep the phone in the truck. Thanks for the advice.

Want to know what really interferes with a detector?? Steel Toe Boots!!!

I personally carry my pinpointer and leche in my hand while im detecting. I seem to have to pull it out every 30 seconds or so, so its just easier then attaching it to anything.....But everyone has there own style
