Looks like a fun hunt! Years ago I was down there when they were dredging . I detected the piles of sludge for three days. found a small shoebox full of beach stuff, and one old Spanish coin.

Dam nice. i was trying to do the same down south in the keys. The gigging to lay pipe and fixing some sea walls. But the access is impossible down there
