Quickie 18th c. Spanish Silver

I hit a spot up that was listed as “questionable” and needing more research on my site list. I was never able to back-up the site beyond some text and a guess, but I said what the hell. With boots in the ground I found it within 20 minutes. Not too much to show since much of it was overgrown and (I believe) picked over, but I did manage a 1/2 reale, IHC, some buttons, and nails. I think previous hunters missed the reale since it was very close to an large iron pipe. It had to be a quickie hunt since I was really in that area to visit/care for my mother after an operation, so I left after an hour or so. I’ll add the buttons tonight, but here’s the reale







Will I go back? Maybe, but I think a 6000ft sq house is being built on the site.

I’m trying but I’m a month everything is already going to be overgrown. The sprouts are going to burst soon and the thorns are already growing new branches.
