Re: Quill & Nib

You may consider those to be "just a hobby," but I'd put those up against any of the professionally manufactured expensive pens I see in the mall any day - in fact, being handmade I think they have even more worth.

Beautiful artistry

Re: Quill & Nib

Thanks for the compliments. I really haven't made much of an attempt to sell them but the few times I have, they have been well received. I make various pens from Olivewood shipped over from annual root trimmings in Bethlehem that people go nuts for at Christmas. I laser engrave crosses or the people name and inlay them with gold. Unfortunately I have a shortttttt attention span so I don't stick with one hobby long enough to do much with it. :-\

I'm making musical instruments now - who knows what tomorrow will bring...

Outstanding work

Fossis............

Re: Quill & Nib

If the first instrument I finish is as bad as the first pen I did... it is all about the learning curve! :) Isn't that what life is all about for that matter? That's probably why I jump from "hobby" to "hobby" so often. Or at least that is what I tell myself.
