It is indeed a 1931 RCA Victor Radiola RE-73. The cabinet is made of walnut. And the average value is $150-$200. Not a huge market for antique radios.
 

Yep, I own several nice console radio's from the 1930's. It's a specialized hobby, mine are in nice shape and I don't think I could give them away.
