looks good to me ,closer I look the more gold flacks I saw.But Okie is the best to let you know.

It is mica schist. That type of rock CAN contain gold. It is a metamorphic rock. Whether it contains gold or not can probably be settled quickly when we know what state and county it came from. Some whole regions have a lot of this with gold, other regions, with nothing.

I have a small amount of knowledge with minerals and I am going to say the true way is to take it in and have it assayed that is the real test.
