"R" Token

"R" Token

Hi. Today I found a penny (I think from 1968), my first real find. But, I also found a token. It looks like a penny, but much thinner. All that is printed on the front is the letter R. Does anyone have an idea what it is?

I'VE SEEN AN AMUSEMENT/ARCADE TOKEN WITH A CAPITAL R WITHIN A CIRCLE. COULD HAVE BEEN A BLANK REVERSE.
