Railroad Key

I found this railroad key at a park I have been hunting. I was wondering is there away to tell if it is old or a reproduction or even a fake. It's Made by Slaymaker Company.... I have seen pics on the internet about it but no info really about it. I Know it's made out of brass for sure if that helps. Thanks

Here is one that is described as vintage 1950's. Has a different # on it, which makes me think that these keys had an actual use by the R.R. and not just mass produced identical runs. But that's just a guess.

I say that key isn't on the list of counterfeited RR keys so it is most likely real. My guess on value is 20 to 35 dollars. You can see some of the RR keys that are worth faking to criminals, and some tips on spoting fakes:Fake Railroad Keys - Railroadiana Online

Looks real to me. Just know that you can't sell it on eBay. A lot of the brass keys are still in use today.
