Got out for the day and got absolutely soaked...but it felt nice after all the humidity. A couple interesting buttons to show for it. The Regent button is posted in What Is It because I've never seen another button like this. The other button that I found interesting has an Eagle and Anchor backmark...is this a military button? I've never seen that before either. Also managed several flat buttons, a few musketballs, a musket trigger guard and a Canada Militia button. All in all it was a good hunt!

few firsts are worth a soaking.
I never seen that canadian militia before either, and I'd be quite happy with that one.

I've got two other Canada Militia buttons but this one is in the best condition. Found one on "the island" and the other in the same field I found this one today...

Never seen a Regent button before, but if I had to guess, I'm thinking its an early type of Livery Button.
