The one is a ramrod pipe, my guess is from a Northwest trade gun. The other is not a ramrod tip, not with an open end. Looks like a piece of flared copper tubing.

Thanks for the replies and the information. While the one piece may very well be a flared pipe I can see no marks on it to show it was compressed onto a fitting. I am familiar with flare fittings having worked on cars for about 50 years and the flare on this piece just doesn't look like any I have seen before.
