Rare and Odd British Playoff soccer Award find

[B|lker]

Found this Award at a local park where i previously found a 1920 Merc and todays Ford built tough key Fob.
Neither of which i have been able to find pics of on the web.
I found a little info on the Award and i think i may even be able to find the owner since there were not that many issued.

Barnsley Football Club was established in 1887 as Barnsley St. Peters
In 1996-97 the club achieved promotion to the Premier League for the first and only time in its history.

Any one seen an award like this or know how i should start my research to find the owner of this one?
I do see a list of managers and players on WIKI but who would i contact.

Thanks for your reply`s in adavance.

Sorry, no pics of the clad and trash.

Hey Bill, great to see you are still out there digging up the Raleigh area. I have no help for your find, but congrats on the recoveries.
I would rebury that Ford key FOB and try for a Chevy instead.
Bob still detecting?

Thanks for looking DUG and VP.
Bob is still detecting but with ankle pain.
The Ford fob will look good in my Auto display case and i`ll have to wait for a nice Chevy one.
Hope your getting out once in a while.
I will be in the Jefferson area the last week of the month and your welcome to join me for a couple of old house hunts in Independence VA if you would like.
Stay Safe and H.H.

Its football not soccer, but I forgive you....

The item is a souvenir piece to sell to fans to commemorate the event.

Thanks Crusader for the information and your forgiveness.
I lived in Ipswich for 2 years and know how crazy the football fans can get.
I`m not sure most Americans would have thought soccer if i had said football.
HAPPY HUNTING EVERYONE
