Yesterday morning I detected a sidewalk that was ripped-up. I found this token at about 3 inches.
I did some research and found it is an English circus advertising token with General Tom thumb, who was a famous circus performer with the PT Barnum Circus and billed as the world's smallest man.
On the front of the token is a picture of Queen Victoria and says 'Victoria Regina' & the year '1846'
The back is a picture of General Tom Thumb and says his name with '15lb weight' written below him.
The token is in fair condition. Does anyone have any other info??
