Rare two sided painted sherd & size difference..........:)

....don't find many like this little one that's painted on both sides. First 2 pictures are of this sherd, front & back. Second picture is just difference in size of the little checkered sherd with larger checkered sherd. And last 2 photos show difference in thickness of some sherds. Seems the "thinner" ones were painted with a bit more care.

Now, I am ready to move back to NM,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Do you hunt East of ABQ?
 

It has to be a rim section. I have found one piece with some tally marks on the inside which is rare.

...rock...you are right, a rim piece! I don't recall, did you post that one with the marks on the inside? Would like to see it! :)
 

Let me see if I can find it. This is on the rim section. My friend found one like it also but in another creek many miles away.

Thanks for sharing CK! I think South West pottery is some of the best there is.
