The first one is a limace at one end (6:00) and re-worked as an endscraper at the other. Wildly colored hornstone ; find location unknown.

This one. A bit bigger, is an endscraper on one end and, interestingly/unusually, thinned for hating at the other. Glossy grey stuff I'm hoping someone can tell me is Coshocton or Flintridge (seen it called both). Bremen, Ohio Late Paleo/Early Archaic site, Mike Gibson.

Right side up when I hit "send;" upside down when it's uploaded. Go figure.

What reference book are you using? I’m trying to follow along but would like to read up more please. I don’t recall Dr Gramley using those terms and I am curious about.
Jeb Taylor’s book is what I use and I’ve not noticed some of the terms your using there either.

Doc G wrote an entire book on Paleoindian Tool Types. I'm pretty sure you'll find the terms I use for them in it, although some may be old French terms when these are more apt. Any particular snags ?

Thanks for caring. :)

If you ask Dr G who’s the prez of his fan club he will tell you a funny story about the whole incident and me. I will check into it some more. Thanks
