Well, it wasn't a MD find, but I did find it....While I was working today, one of the tenants said that the coin exchange was jammed up on one dryers in the properties laundry room. Thinking that one of the kids probably stuck a washer, or something other than a quarter in it, I used the rubber end of a hammer handle to push the coin exchange in the rest of the way. It went in, and the machine started. I opened the coin box to see what it was, and was surprised to see the 2000 Maryland State quarter mis-strike. It isn't round, more like an oval, which is why it got jammed. Also, there are no lines (ridges) on the edge, it is smooth like a nickle. This is the first major mis-strike I have ever found.
